Type Talk Text is a theoretical design conference about typography and graphic design. My inspiration for this design came from the challenge of the digital age and its impact on design. The challenge here is to create a poster that is stimulating and relevant to typographers and designers, not our general target audience.

A typography conference is all about type so I looked at posters and media with strong typographic elements and contrast.

I started out with concepts concerning devices and screens, but started narrowing down on a broken dot/ technical concept.

FINAL DESIGNS
I utilized the dot pattern which echoed pixels and print dot patterns in my final design. I used a combination of very rounded & bold type faces to compliment the dot pattern. The final product is a bold typographic informational poster.
